The Referendum Version of the Plan and its six appendices is now available on the following pages. It sets out policies on planning matters across the Parish, which have been developed through informal consultation during the past six years.
The Plan has been scrutinised by an independent examiner and amendments incorporated; subject to a final review by Stratford District Council, the Plan is ready to go to a referendum.
The District Council is required to make arrangements for the referendum to take place. They will set the date, probably in June, and will determine who is eligible to vote (it will include all Parish residents). The outcome of the referendum will be determined on a “first past the post” basis. It is crucial that you participate in the referendum process.
Once the Plan is approved, the District Council have a statutory obligation to consult the Plan when considering planning applications within the Parish
